Gina Dobson started acting on stage as a way to spend more time with her children. After a summer in the role of Aunt Lulu in the musical Footloose, Gina fell in love with performing, and even after her children moved on to other interests, Gina continued into film and commercial roles where she has won multiple awards and recognition.

She loves powerful female roles both heroic and villainous that combine physicality and emotional intensity.

Gina also has a flair for comedic timing and says her dream role would be reminiscent of Carol Burnett’s portrayal of Miss Hannigan in Annie.
