Arrested for Murder After a Miscarriage

My memoir depicts a profoundly flawed justice system and the victimizing I suffered due to a private medical tragedy. It is reflective of the current political and social climate as laws revoke the rights of women, limit their privacy, and impose institutional barriers to their healthcare, opening doors to further legalized gender bias.

This is also the story of other inmates and the downtrodden I met along the way. It is about growth under catastrophic circumstances. It is a witness to remarkable jail alliances. And it is a testament to a mother’s love. 

This is a story about healing and finding joy even in the darkest of times.
